After the pickling process is complete, and the skin has been neutralized, hang and drain skin for 30 minutes. You want the skin to become “thirsty” so it will absorb or draw the tan into the skin. The Paint-On TanZall tan has both a tanning agent and tanning oil. Oil can also be heated to reduce its viscosity, but NEVER OVER 90 degrees! Apply tan, hang skin overnight. It will drip more water. The next morning, wash the skin in a slightly warm water solution with 1/4 lb. of salt and a little Degreaser for 10 minutes.
