Citric Acid is an organic acid that can be used for the pickling process of tanning. Good hair setting affects and aids in the breakdown of the non-tan proteins in the skin, resulting in better and softer tanned skin. Simple directions per gallon of water, use 3 oz. of Citric Acid along with 12 oz of salt. Very economical acid that gives you great results.
